年月日的前面用介词in或on。

若指在哪一年或哪一月，用介词in。

若具体到某一天，需用介词on。

年月日表达法：

1、四位数的年份：一般前两位数为一个单位，后两位数为一个单位，依次按基数词读出，但要注意千年的读法。

1999读作nineteen ninety-nine

1806年读作eighteen and six, eighteen hundred and six

2018年读作two thousand and eighteen或twenty eighteen

1900年通常读作nineteen hundred

2、月份的表达法：首写字母要大写，月份名称及缩写形式如下。

3、月、日的表达法：可先写月份，再写日期；也可先写日期，再写月份。日期中的“几号”可用序数词，也可用基数词表达，要注意读法。

12月25日：December 25(th)或25th December

读作：December （the）twenty-fifth或the twenty-fifth of December

（1）单独表达”……世纪”时，century前直接用序数词即可；序数词前用定冠词。

在19世纪 in the nineteenth（19th） century

（2）在表达“在……世纪……年代”时用“in the +带整十年份的复数形式或在整十年份后加-s”。初期、中期、末期分别early, mid-，和late表示。

在19世纪30年代 in the 1830s/1830's

在20世纪90年代中期 in the mid-1990s/mid-1990's

5、表示某年某月某日：英式英语通常是“日、月、年”，美式英语通常是“月、日，年”。
